Resources

In this section we offer resources to help anyone wishing to use Hypothes.is, either on their own or as part of the JAR Group. As the project grows (fingers crossed!), we’ll add more resources according to your needs. Below you’ll find a short screencast explaining how to use Hypothes.is and a condensed citation guide.

Using hypothes.is

This in-house six-minute video [CC] takes you through the most basic steps to create an annotation. It’s super easy! Below you can also find directions on how to add different kinds of sources to your annotations.

We’re creating a Works Cited for all of our annotations so that anyone interested in following up on a source can do so with ease. Please include a Works Cited when you share your annotation for publication under the JAR Group following MLA citation style.

We explain the basics of this style here.
